Shipping

Once you start the checkout process and enter the shipping address, the postage fee will be calculated based on weight and destination. You'll see the cost before paying for you order. We ship all orders via our local post office, which is tucked beside an old New England white clapboard church in our tiny town center.

Orders are packaged once or twice a week throughout the year and every day during the busy Christmas season. Please allow up to seven days before your order is mailed because the chickens need tending, the woodstove needs more wood and there is always much to do on our homesteads here in Vermont.

Seed Shipping 

Seeds are available once a year and generate enough orders (thank you!) that it takes up to a month to get all the orders shipped. 

Seed Shipping Restrictions

It’s so disappointing, but a few of our seed varieties are prohibited in some states. These restrictions are listed in the seed descriptions. Please read these descriptions carefully. If you inadvertently order a seed packet that we cannot fufill due to these restrictions, we'll either make a substitution or remove and refund the item(s).

Tracking Information

Once your order has been submitted, we have packed it and printed the shipping label, you will receive automated emails with the tracking number.

International Shipping

We launched a new website in January 2025 and did not activate international shipping as it called for some fussing to get it working right. But we do anticipate adding that option back in due time. As postage fees have risen over the past few years, we've found international shipping to be prohibitively expensive - significantly reducing the quantity of international orders. Please contact us if you are in dire need of our specialty Tasha Tudor items. Your request may get us moving on setting up international shipping.
