Caspari Single Rare Card: Around the Tree

How Tasha loved the image of family gathered around the lighted Christmas Tree. In her tradition, the tree was lit only one time so the magic was all that more concentrated. She used real candles, as seen here which necessitated using a very fresh tree to reduce the fire hazard. When she finished decorating the tree, she played the family music box which her children knew was the signal that they were allowed to enter the room and see the tree for the first time.

Tasha Tudor painted a series of Christmas cards each year for American Artist Group from 1947 to 1979.  Starting in the 2000s, images from this large body of work were released annually by Caspari Inc.
