Mystery Rose Seeds

Tasha once received an unmarked rose. It went on to self-sow throughout her garden and has always been known as the Mystery Rose.

Level: Intensive

Flower: Single light pink flower.

Likes: Moist, well-drained soil. Full sun.

Blooms: Early Summer.

Height: Will top out at 12 feet or so without pruning.

Zones: Does well in zone 4.

Germination: In the depths of winter, fill a small canning jar with seeds & moistened sphagnum moss. Cover with muslin & note the date. Keep the jar in the icebox at 40 degrees. Watch for sprouts in 30-120 days. Remoisten as necessary. Transplant into sterile soil.
